Healthy and sweet alternatives in everyday life

There are moments when we have a sweet tooth and crave sweets. A bad conscience often sets in and we can neither enjoy our snack nor fully satisfy our cravings. But who says we can’t have both? Healthy and sweet. Today we want to introduce you to healthy and sweet alternatives that you can easily make yourself as soon as the cravings arise.

Make healthy snacks yourself

We at bianco di puro are the biggest advocates of “do it yourself”. Our high-performance blenders are designed to do just that and are therefore a great help in the kitchen. Many people only think of smoothies when they hear the word “mixer”. Of course, they can also be a great snack, but the bianco di puro high-performance mixers can do so much more. The preset programs already give a little hint of what they can do, because they are called:

  • green smoothie
  • fruit smoothie
  • soups
  • sauces
  • flour/meal
  • plant milk
  • Frozen yogurt
  • ice cream
  • dough

Snacks such as energy balls, raw food cakes, ice cream, frozen yogurt, sweet smoothies, creams, cookies, pancakes and pudding are easy with the bianco di puro mixers! Today we want to share some of our creations with you. All recipes are free from refined sugar, white flour and made from purely plant-based ingredients.

“Nutella” alternative with only two ingredients

Many of us grew up eating the globally popular “Nutella”. The creamy spread tastes particularly nutty and chocolatey, but the product’s list of ingredients is extensive and unhealthy. We have a super delicious alternative that also tastes deliciously nutty and chocolatey, but actually consists of only two ingredients: hazelnuts and dark chocolate. For this we roast 200g hazelnuts, mix them in the bianco di puro mixer to a creamy nut butter. At the same time we melt 80g of dark chocolate and add it to the nut butter. Mix the cream again for about a minute and then pour into an airtight glass.

“Kinder Bueno” spread with only two ingredients

We recently posted the “Kinder Bueno” spread on our social media and received a lot of encouragement and joy. The creamy spread consists of only two ingredients and comes very, very close to the world-famous “Bueno-Kinder-Cream”! The ingredients for the Kinder Bueno cream alternative are:

  1. 200g roasted hazelnuts
  2. 80g white (vegan) chocolate

Mix the roasted nuts in the bianco di puro mixer to a creamy nut butter, add the white chocolate in pieces and continue to mix to a creamy spread. Pour the spread into an airtight container. Stored in the refrigerator, so the cream becomes spreadable.

Make mug cakes and vegan brownies with the mixer

Mug cake? Oh yeah! This recipe is great for the big sweet tooth among us! The baking mixture is mixed quickly and the mini cake is a quick breakfast, dessert or snack. All we need:

  • 60g rolled oats
  • 30g protein powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 90g vegan joghurt
  • 70ml plant-based milk
  • 1 tbsp. maple syrup
  • Handful of chocolate chips

First mix the rolled oats into oatmeal. Then add the remaining ingredients except for the chocolate and mix again briefly. Pour the cake mixture into a mug and stir in the chocolate chips. Bake the mini cake at 180° for about 20 minutes.

Vegan brownies with only 4 ingredients

  • 250g peanut butter
  • 180ml maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 80g raw cocoa powder
  • optional: a pinch of salt

Put all the ingredients in the blender and mix to a very thick batter. Place the dough in a baking paper-lined tin, press flat and bake at 160° for approx. 1 hour. The brownies taste totally chocolate, sweet and have the desired firm consistency.

Make your own ice cream in the blender

We love to make ice cream in our bianco di puro mixer. We like to experiment and have already created very tasty recipes. In this blog post, we want to share two of those recipes with you: Chocolate Popsicles and Peanut Ice Cream.

Chocolate Popsicles:

  • 250ml coconut milk
  • An avocado
  • 5 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 100ml maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Mix all ingredients to a creamy mass and then pour into an ice cream mold. Freeze for about 4 hours. It is best to enjoy it right away, this is how the ice cream tastes the most intense!

Peanut Ice Cream:

  • 6 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 3 tbsp. Hazelnut, cashew or almond butter
  • 250ml plant-based milk
  • 150ml coconut milk
  • 10 dates
  • A pinch of salt
  • optional: vanilla extract

Mix all ingredients to a creamy mass. Pour the amount of ice cream into a freezer-safe container, tapping the container repeatedly on the work surface to dislodge the air bubbles. Then cover with cling film and place in the freezer for several hours (approx. 8 hours).
